This referendum will ask you to vote YES or vote NO to the question:
”Do you want Central Beds Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area”
IF YOU VOTE YES.
Then the Langford Neighbourhood Plan will become a statutory document which means by law CBC have to take the contents of the Plan into consideration when determining planning applications.
IF YOU VOTE NO.
Then you don’t agree with the contents of the Langford Neighbourhood Plan and therefore do not want CBC to consider the document when determining planning applications.
The Langford Neighbourhood Plan has the support of Langford Parish Council and CBC Council Member Mr Steve Dixon.
Many residents have played a part in the creation of the Plan following extensive consultation in the community.
