CBC – Carriageway Patching and Road Markings on approach to Railway Bridge

Temporary Road Closure at the above location to enable Carriageway Patching works to take place safely.

The closure will take place on 9th-22nd November 0800-1800hrs

The restrictions are to be in operation only when the necessary signs are erected on site.

The Legal Order will be made to cover an 12month period. Access may be allowed from time to time according to local signing.

*Please note CBC have to advertise a route that matches the highways standards of the road to be closed. This includes weight and speed limits (so its not always a case of just showing the quickest alternative as not all vehicles can follow suit).

Diversion Route:

Head east on Edworth Rd

At the roundabout, take the 1st exit

Turn right

At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Biggleswade Rd

Continue onto Dunton Ln

At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Saxon Dr

At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto London Rd/A6001

At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto St Andrew's St/B659

Go through 1 roundabout

At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Hitchin St/B659

At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Station Rd

At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Cambridge Rd

Destination will be on the right
