The Methodist Chapel
This is our chapel where all are welcome to attend the services and events. The Chapel is also home to the Owlets Pre-School.
What’s on at the Chapel:
Chapel Services – are held from 10.45am to 11.45am – (except for the last Sunday in the month when they are held from 9.30 am to 10.30 am) – all services are followed by refreshments
Oasis Coffee Morning – the 1st Wednesday of the month from 10.30am to 11.30am
Sisterhood – Thursdays at 2.30pm (in the chapel schoolroom) – between September and June
There are also Praise & Pray, Prayer Groups and other social events organised throughout the year.

The Welcome Club
If you fancy a relaxed afternoon chatting to friends, having a game of cards or scrabble over a cup of tea then the Welcome Club is for you. The club meets every Wednesday from 14.00 at the Ivy leaf premises in Station Road, just turn up whenever you like. Further details are available from:

Langford History Society
This Langford History Society has been established for many years dedicated to our local history.
Langford & District History Society founded in 1983, is a small, friendly society in this Bedfordshire village.
We arrange a full programme of talks which take place in St Andrew’s Church Hall in Langford and, in June and July, organise evening visits to local places of interest.
We have published books on the history of Langford showing all aspects of village life and the personalities involved. Some of these are still available and are rich in photographs up to a hundred years old.
Visitors are welcome to our meetings and activities. We invite you to look at our programme and join us to find out more about the history of this area.

MEETINGS ARE HELD IN THE CHURCH HALL, CHURCH STREET, LANGFORD, FROM 8 PM ON THE FIRST WEDNESDAY OF THE MONTH EXCEPT FOR JANUARY AND AUGUST WHEN THERE ARE NO MEETINGS AND JUNE AND JULY WHEN THERE COULD BE DIFFERENT TIMINGS AND/OR LOCATIONS FOR VISITS.

Langford Welfare Trust
If you live in Langford and are having difficulty with paying for something that is important to you and your family why not see if the Trust can help.
The Trust can provide funds for such things as basic items of furniture,school uniforms,books,travel costs,tools,equipment,training costs or any welfare related item.
Historically the proceeds were distributed to the needy of the village in the form of bread and coal,today the proceeds are available for general welfare and educational purposes.
